The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option for those looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

Roomba s9+ iRobot from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules for a truly hands-free experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up you can begin the automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as rice and cereal. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is superior as its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an affordable cost to pay if are looking for one of the top robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right like a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to an empty bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature if you have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's a lot of clutter that needs to be removed regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors with the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an automatic cleaning station that cleans and empty mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing a thorough job. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with children or pets.
